The iWoman Report

The iWoman Report with Cathleen Trigg-Jones is a weekly news/talk show featuring all the latest in news, business, health, and entertainment, with a female focus.

As the primary producer and editor of the iWoman Report, I create the structure of each show by choosing stories and finding relevant guests to interview. In addition, I assist host Cathleen Trigg-Jones with all script writing. Each episode is filmed with a virtual set using NewTek Tricaster software, which I operate. I then edit each episode which includes finding photos, B-roll, and soundbites to further the story, creating show graphics, and ensuring the audio mix is leveled.

Having such a hands-on experience with each step of production of the iWoman Report has taught me how to multi-task and be on top of relevant and breaking news. I learn and hone my skills with each episode, which I will bring with me to future jobs within the media and entertainment industry.

Puerto Rico has been hit by another devastating hurricane exactly 5 years after Hurricane Maria caused irreparable damage. Cathleen gets a call from her neighbor in Puerto Rico who is on the ground handing out food and water to those hit hardest. Then, Cathleen is joined by Joyce Short and Andrea Constand, two women who are passionate about creating a safe space in the legal system for sexual assault survivors. Then, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Victoria Jenn joins the iWoman Report to discuss her business success.

Queen Elizabeth II has died at age 96, and the world can't stop watching the Royal Family and how they're dealing with this loss. Then, Cathleen Trigg-Jones is joined by Natalie Silverstein from Impact 100 NYC, an organization that focuses on bringing women together to give back to their communities.
